Private label powders

Find a reliable, low MOQ powder manufacturer.

Powders carry more active per serving than anything else here, and they carry some of the lowest minimums. That combination makes this the cheapest honest way to put a real product in market and find out whether anyone wants it, which is why so many brands start here and move formats later.

  • Free to send a brief
  • Reply in 2 business days
  • Runs from 1,000 units

Best for

When powders are the right call

  • Any serving measured in grams rather than milligrams
  • First time brands testing a concept without a five figure commitment
  • Flavor led products where the drinking experience is the product
  • Subscription models, where a tub is a natural monthly cadence

What you give up

The honest trade offs

The customer has to measure it, which means a scoop and a tub, and tubs are bulky and expensive to ship. It is a format for people who already have a routine rather than for impulse or trial. Flavor development on a difficult active takes real iteration and that time is not free.

We would rather tell you this now than after a deposit. Choosing the wrong format is the single most expensive early mistake a brand can make.

Low MOQ is not enough

What a reliable powder manufacturer looks like.

A low minimum only matters if the product comes back right. These are the things we check before a powder manufacturer ever sees your brief.

  1. Develops flavor in house, because a powder lives or dies on taste and mixability.

  2. Fills tubs and pouches with checkweighing, so every container holds its stated servings.

  3. Tests for heavy metals, especially on proteins, greens and plant ingredients.

  4. Can scale from a 1,000 unit run to a full truckload without changing the formula.

Certifications

Certifications for your powders.

Ask for the ones your retailers and customers expect. We match powders projects only to manufacturers that hold the certifications your product needs.

Where it sells

Channels where powders perform.

Format and channel should be decided together. A product that wins on Amazon can stall in mass retail, and the reverse.

Sports and performance

Still the core of the format and the most price competitive.

Wellness and greens

A premium lane where sourcing stories and organic certification carry the margin.

DTC subscription

A tub is a natural month, which makes the retention math work.

Gut health and fiber

The fastest growing powder segment and the one with the most room left.

Questions

Powders, answered.

What is the minimum order for private label powders?

Typically 1,000 to 2,500 units on existing formulas, among the lowest in the category. Starting from an existing formula keeps minimums lowest. We will tell you honestly where a manufacturer's real minimum sits, which is often different from the number on its website.

How long does powder manufacturing take?

4 to 8 weeks. The biggest variable is usually packaging and label approval rather than production itself, so we start that work in parallel.

How do I find a reliable powder manufacturer?

Ask for the real minimum per SKU, a sample before a deposit, and a certificate of analysis from a recent batch, and check the points on this page. Or send us a brief, because that qualification is the work we do every day.

Can I start on a stock formula and move to custom later?

Yes, and for most brands that is the right order. Launch on a proven formula with your label, learn what sells, then invest in a custom formulation once the volume justifies it.

Do I get specifications and certificates of analysis?

Yes, with every quote. Our manufacturing partners are FDA registered and work to cGMP. NSF, organic, kosher, halal and vegan options are available depending on the line.

Will I know who makes my product?

Yes. You meet the manufacturer once the project is real, at the brief, sample or purchase order stage, and from that point you can vet them yourself: certifications, audit history and a visit if you want one.

Does it cost anything to send a brief?

No. Sending a brief and getting a quote through us costs you nothing.
